The "father appeared to be dragging his five-year-old daughter by her hair down the aisle. The girl was screaming and crying of pain and she's saying : "Please stop you're hurting me. Please stop ! I promise I won't do it again… please stop ! please let go…
A customer asked the man to stop when he didn't , she started taking pictures and called police. When officers arrived she showed them the photos . As the girl didn't have any bruises or missing hair they couldn't arrest the father . People have a right to discipline their children they said.
The photos on facebook since last night have been shared by more than 50,000 times with many saying the dad ought to be locked up
"We are taking this pretty serious," Cleveland Police Chief says . Police are in the process of interviewing the father along with
other witnesses. They'll also be reviewing surveillance video from inside this Walmart. Again at this point no charges have been filed.
