TIẾNG ANH QUA CHUYỆN CƯỜI

Gun and Potato
An aging man lived alone in Ireland.  His only

son was is prison, and he didn’t know anyone who would spade up his potato garden.  (image : http://www.bbc.co.uk/)
The old man wrote to his son about it, and received this reply, “ For Da, for heaven’s sake, man, don’t dig up that garden! Don’t you remember, that’s where I buried the  guns !”
At precisely 5 a.m. the following morning, a dozen British soldiers showed up and dug up the entire garden, but no gun was found...

Confused, the man wrote to his son telling him what happened and asking what to do next.

His son reply was ,“ Da, just plant your potatoes.”               (image http://www.meandb.net/)
